Wave Art

Design is so simple, that’s why it’s so complicated.

Paul Rand

Hello everyone! Hope your week has been going well. Today I was experimenting with wave patterns, and came up with Bump, Twirl, Hop, and Swoop. All four designs were made with circles and a blue monochromatic color scheme. My favorite is Swoop—I love how simple it is!

Also, I am excited to announce that Turtledesk is offering free logo design for a limited time! If you’re interested, please let me know via the contact page. I will be happy to help you out!

  1. Wow! I really enjoyed the wave design (upper right corner of your quad). How did you make these?

What a kind and generous offer to do logos for readers. That is so amazing. I might want to think about a similar offer – maybe a poem for readers? You’ve inspired me, yellowfuzzyduck!

    1. Oh, thank you so much!! I used overlapping circles of various sizes to create “wave” shapes, but whether or not they actually look like waves is open to interpretation. 😊

And the logos – you are so sweet! I really love graphic design, which is the main reason why I offered to do logos for readers. A poem for your readers is a great idea, Theresa! Good for you! 🙂
